General Car Hire Terms

  • Driver’s age: The driver must be at least 23 years old
  • Method of Payment: Our Agency requires a valid credit card, even if the car rental fees are paid by cash.
  • Traffic Violations: All fines and legal repercussions are the responsibility of the renter.
  • Baby Seats: For a additional charge 3.00 euros per day, you can rent a baby seat.
Reservation policy: When making a reservation, you are required to submit your credit card number. Your credit card number is kept as a guarantee. ATTENTION: There is no insurance coverage if the driver is under the influence of alcohol, any kind of drugs. Driver is liable for all parking and traffic violations during the rental period. Absolutely no vehicle is allowed to be driven in sand, on the beach, dry lakes and off roads. Please NOTE, that there is no insurance coverage for damages caused to the tires, mirrors, loss keys, damage to gear box.
  • If the renter does not hold a credit card a guarantee deposit of cash 500.00€ required.
  • Full isurance – not covered the *mirror damage,*bottom site of the car and *weels damage
  • Second driver mentioned on the contract agreement
  • The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel and must be refilled prior to car return, otherwise a charge of fuel* in addition to a refueling fee of 10€ will apply.
  • When collecting the vehicle, the renter will be given a Rental Agreement in which he is obligated to read and sign. The Rental Agreement will show all services and insurances provided as well as any extra services/insurances that the renter might request with their relevant charges.
  • It is very important that the renter checks and reports any existing damage on the vehicle in order to avoid any charges regarding damages caused by a previous renter. The renter has to sign at collection/delivery a condition form for any damages to the vehicle.

Sights to visit

Paleros is strategically located making it ideal for short excursions to the adjacent island of Lefkada, separated from the mainland by a floating bridge just 50m long. Preveza, Parga, Messolongi and many other places can also be reached easily by car offering wonderful destinations for daily excursions. Some of these destinations are:
  • Fishermen on the serene lake of Ioanina.
  • The Vikos George north of Ioanina is one of the most spectacular locations in the country.
  • The imposing mountains of Meteora, with the impressive monasteries set on the steep cliffs.
  • Experience rafting in Voidomatis River north of Ioanina
  • The archeological site of Delphi.
  • The ancient theater in Dodoni.
  • The stadium at Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games.
